This is our largest Suite occupying the entire Second Floor of the Townhouse, comprising an expansive Master Bedroom, En-Suite Shower room and private Dressing Room. It is uniquely furnished with some of the best pieces from 8 Holland Street's art collection.
The Bedroom has a Superking sized bed, a comfy seating area with a shearling sofa, lounge chairs, writing desk and storage. Expansive tripartite windows look out over the facades of Brock Street.
The Ensuite Shower room features a marble washstand, separate rain shower and sash window opening onto Margaret's Buildings, bathing the room in light. A private hallway leads to the generous Dressing Room with a large Water Monopoly bath, a comfortable armchair and separate vanity area. The Suite is ambient and very beautifully lit.
Furniture highlights include a Josef Frank for Svenkst Tenn headboard, Otto Faerge settee, Italian cane armchairs, a Fontana Arte blue bevelled glass mirror and a Guillerme et Chambron cabinet. Design favourites include a Märta Måås-Fjetterström carpet, vintage Peggy Angus wallpaper and Josef Frank rugs. The art collection presents original work by Ben Nicholson, Victor Pasmore, André Derain and Eduardo Paolozzi together with a display of British and Continental studio pottery.

Located on the Third Floor of the Townhouse, this series of rooms provides a tranquil setting to enjoy a comfortable stay. Comprising a bright and spacious Bedroom, private Sitting Room with writing area and Ensuite Bathroom. The original wooden floorboards and bright patterned walls create an understated backdrop for the display of modern British artworks and European design from 8 Holland Street's collection.
The Bedroom has an oversized King size Italian bedframe with Danish rocking chair and E-Gomme sideboard. The Ensuite Bathroom is bright and spacious with views of the skyline over Margaret's Buildings. Water Monopoly bathroom fittings, an antique roll top bath and separate rain shower aid in the art of grooming. The separate Sitting Room features a sofa, a drop-down bureau, bookcase and TV. A perfect space for afternoon downtime from exploring Bath.
Furniture pieces include an unusual Isamu Noguchi standard lamp, Vico Magistretti bedside tables, a Carl Hansen & Son Colonial table and Berber rugs. Design highlights encompass work by Josef Frank, Tibor Reich, Nicola Tassie alongside antique textiles. This is a cosy Ensuite Bedroom on the top floor of the house which provides a very comfortable night's sleep. The room has views of the skyline and over the charming neighbourhood of Margaret's Buildings. The bedroom offers the utmost in design inspiration and a perfect bolthole from which to enjoy the Townhouse and time exploring Bath.
The Bedroom features painted floorboards and hand-printed Voysey wallpaper with an exquisite King size bed, writing desk and small wardrobe area. The room is warmly lit and a private hallway opens into the Ensuite Bathroom. A generous marble mounted bathtub, overhead rain shower and Water Monopoly washstand aid in the ritual of grooming. Colours and materials are uplifting and cocooning. This is our take on a cosy attic bedroom.
The artwork collection features pieces by Trevor Bell, Clifford and Rosemary Ellis, Barry Flanagan and Michael Craig Martin. Furniture includes a Guillerme et Chambron bed and Joe Colombo chair.

Rooms are beautifully lit, ambient and comfortable as well as being wonderfully equipped as a functioning home-away-from-home. In the Kitchen, Plain English and Vitsoe cabinetry and storage provide a basis for a Bertazzoni cooker, Studio Ore taps, thoughtful cookware and tableware. Water Monopoly and Drummonds bathroom fitings exude indulgence.Our team can arrange for additional amenities including maid service, daily breakfast, private dinners, concierge, guides and a driver to ensure guests experience the ambience and comfort of 8 Holland Street Townhouse and the surrounding area to it's full potential. We ask for a three night minimum stay for exclusive use.
