AN EXHIBITION SHOWCASING A SERIES OF PAINTINGS AT 8 HOLLAND STREET'S KENSINGTON GALLERY. 15 JULY - 29 AUGUST 2026

8 Holland Street is excited to present DAVID TURLEY: HOUSE PLANT CARE, a new exhibition showcasing a selection of paintings from a wider series, each based on a small photograph from a found book of the same name. A chance street find, the book contains an A-to-Z of 168 house plants, which Turley has been translating sequentially into paintings. A practical manual published in 1986, the book offers guidance on how to identify, clean, handle, protect and display the plants.

8 Holland Street is delighted to present Jilly Edwards: Nature Table, an exhibition of 52 new handwoven tapestries alongside a selection of larger scale works, on view at the Bath Gallery from 25 June to 22 August.

This new exhibition brings together a body of work that emerged from a year-long period of chaos and renewal in Edwards’ life. Working from a makeshift space - a rickety garden table - the artist found herself responding closely to the world immediately around her.
