Vico Magistretti

Following the war, which Magistretti had spent in neutral Switzerland, he returned to his home city where his career began and flourished. His early work focus on architectural and urban planning projects. However, by the 1960s, Magristretti was working on the design teams of some of the great Italian furniture manufacturers including Cassina and Oluce. Some of his most iconic designs have never ceased production. 

The Selene chair has always been produced in a myriad of colours. Its fibreglass frame was designed to be lightweight and stackable; a space-saving solution indeed – but they’re far too cool to be stacked away!
