BEATA HEUMAN: IN RESIDENCE AT 8 HOLLAND STREET: LONDON

26 March - 23 April 2020

From March 26 to April 23, Beata Heuman will be in residence at 8 Holland Street showcasing a collection of furniture, lighting and homewares. This will be one of the first times clients are able to view and experience Beata’s products first hand in a gallery environment.

Expect marbleized velvets, the whimsical Dodo pendant light and playful pieces including the Luck Dragon stool alongside furniture pieces made by some of the finest makers from Britain, Italy and Sweden. These iconic designs will add a sense of fun and whimsy to any room and can be ordered in a number of custom finishes and fabrics.

2020 has already proved to been an exciting and successful year for Beata, making Architectural Digest's Top 100 Interior Designers and launching her online store, Shoppa.

Beata's aim is to create beautiful, imaginative products with a spirit of originality. Her desire is for each design to possess a certain lightness - whether by playing with the tension between fantasy and reality or a sense of movement or curvature - which she believes can lift spirits and create a feeling of ease.

Beata’s pieces will join 8 Holland Street's collection of 1950's Italian furniture and lighting by designers including Gio Ponti, Vico Magistretti as well as playful ceramics from the likes of Prue Piper, Claudia Rankin and Georgia Loizou, creating a perfect dichotomy between antique and new.

Both Beata Heuman and 8 Holland Street's founder, Tobias Vernon, share the belief that a home should be a unique reflection of who you are and that the pieces you buy should spark creativity and individuality.
