8 Holland Street is thrilled to announce their next exhibition; Io! Amata Benedict, a Kensington domus not seen since the likes of Ancient Rome. From 1 December 2023- 3 February 2024, 8 Holland Street will be filled with abundant presents to be shared - incense to burn, vases filled with wine, swan chairs to recline, And candles that light up the dark.
Amata Benedict are an artistic partnership working collaboratively in sculpture, ceramics, textiles and furniture. A practice based on the prolific principles of an Italian renaissance ‘bottega’ workshop - from appliqué to ceramics, sculptures in bronze, steel and wood. Amata Benedict create art from the past's paraphernalia - imbuing each work with their own history and a wry wit.
