Artists & Makers
Pascale Zintzen is a Belgian multidisciplinary artist based between Barcelona and the Baix Ebre countryside in Spain. Working across sculpture, ceramics, bronze and ink on paper, her practice explores the relationship between material memory, landscape and human experience. Through process-led engagement with traditional craft techniques, she creates forms that evoke notions of permanence, transformation and repair, inviting reflection on the ways personal and collective histories become embedded within material culture.
Her work is characterised by a restrained aesthetic, where hand-built simple forms and surface decoration articulate a dialogue between fragility and endurance. Her works positions craft as both a critical and poetic means of engaging with contemporary art.
Her recent exhibitions include L’Arlequin, Sessùn x Paris Design Week (Paris, 2026), Obsessions: A Self Portrait, Openhouse Magazine, Milan Design Week (Milan, 2026), and Soul of Matière, SM Bureau Gallery, Paris Design Week (Paris, 2025).
