Prue Piper

Prue Piper is a ceramicist based in Somerset, whose lively designs are a perfect blend of the amazingly eye-catching and the functional.

After learning to throw a pot some thirty years ago, Prue’s skill and imagination have been given free rein, and her creations are eccentric and whimsical. Her pieces draw on the shapes in nature, the folkloric and Prue’s own keen eye - which never takes itself too seriously. The wife and mother of brilliant artists too, Prue’s work and skill continues to retain its lightness, joviality and, importantly, its ability to make you smile.
