Anthony Benjamin
Overview
Anthony Benjamin born in 1931 in Hampshire, was an English painter, sculptor and printmaker. He began his studies in engineering at Southall technical college and pursued his interest in art at the Regent Street Polytechnic in 1949. Following his years studying in London he later moved to St Ives where he established his reputation as an abstract artist.
Working with many medias such as painting, drawing and sculpture in wood, metal and plastics. From 1967 he worked as a fine art professor in the institutions throughout North America later returning to Britain in 1973 to peruse his profession as a printmaker.
